DreamWorks Goes Back in Time & Re-activates Colin Trevorrow Script
Originally set up at Columbia seven years ago, an old script by Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow is being dusted off by DreamWorks and has been given to Tim Dowling to pen a new draft. The story involves a scientist who flees into the past to protect his time machine, forcing his son and grandson to rebuild the device in the present to rescue him, all while fleeing crooks bent on exploiting time travel. China’s Huace Group Signs $300 Mil Deal with Arclight Films & Forms Aurora Alliance Films
Huace Group is the latest to strike a deal out of China with its joint venture with LA and Sydney-based Arclight Films called Aurora Alliance Films. The $300 million deal has the goal of developing a slate of “high concept” international co-productions and deliver three films per year. (VAR)
