Tarantino is releasing the Hateful Eight in a limited roadshow engagement and in addition to the Ultra Panavision 70mm photography, the film will also be longer than the multiplex version. Not a slight to the multiplex, rather Tarantino just wants to better suit the separate viewing experiences. (VAR)

The acclaimed creator of Luther, Neil Cross, will script a revamp of the cult classic, Escape from New York for 20th Century Fox. Considering the original film’s future was 1997, the new version will require some reworking. Word is Fox is looking for it to be on par with their Planet of the Apes franchise. (THR)

King Bach, Bachelor has become Vine’s biggest star with 14 million followers and an insane 5.1 billion loops.
