Warner Bros. started working on the sequel before the release of the original film based on advanced market research that showed the first film would be a big hit, which it was, earning over $360 million worldwide so far. Pushing Daisy Logline: In 1999, young Daisy meets a mysterious young woman who teaches her to pursue her dreams. Fletch Won Logline: The early days of Fletch as a junior newspaper reporter, who teams up with a crime reporter to solve a murder. Studio/Distributor: Warner Bros. Production Companies: RoadDog Industries, Inc., Anonymous Content Producers: David List, Steve Golin, Michael Sugar, Amanda White (Co-Producer) Cast: Jason Sudeikis Writers: Kevin Smith, Bill Lawrence, Eli Jorne Details: Based on the novel Fletch Won, written by Gregory McDonald published by Warner Books; 1985. Prequel to Fletch (USA/1985) directed by Michael Ritchie and starring Chevy Chase.  SSN Insight: This project has been in development for years. Warner Bros. nabbed the rights from The Weinstein Company in 2011.

SSN Insight: This project marks the first English-language film for Spanish producer/director Fernando Leon de Aranoa. Death of a Heart Logline: Storyline is under wraps. Studio/Distributor: Columbia Pictures Production Company:  The Mark Gordon Company Producer: Mark Gordon Details: Based on the book Death of a Heart, currently being written by Howard Blum. SSN Insight:  Sony nabbed the rights to this upcoming novel by Howard Blum, but Blum has 2 other novels being developed into features; The Floor Of Heaven at Fox and at Dark Invasion Warner Bros. Out at Home: The Glenn Burke Story Logline: The true story of Glenn Burke, the first openly gay player in major league baseball. Production Company:  Juma Entertainment Producers:  Ross Katz, Jamie Lee Curtis. Bob Horowitz Writer:  Ross Katz Details: Based on the memoir Out at Home, written by Glenn Burke and Erik Sherman and published by Excel Publishing in 1995.  SSN Insight: Subject Glenn Burke is credited to have invented the “high five”.
