Details: Based on “The Tick” comic book series by Ben Enlund that was adapted for a 1994-1996 Fox animated series and a 2001 live-action Fox comedy series.
SSN Insight: Amazon has given a pilot order. Barry Josephson also executive produced the live action series. Griffin Newman will play Arthur Everest and Valorie Curry will play his sister Dot Everest. Wally Pfister is in negotiations to direct. Patrick Warburton, who played the title character in the Fox live action series, will not reprise his role but is expected to serve as an executive producer.
