NMA PR: Actor Tom Cavanagh has signed with NMA PR. He can be seen currently in The Flash on the CW where he portrays Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash and Dr. Harrison Wells. His other credits include Scrubs, Trust Me and Royal Pains. On the film side he was seen in How to Eat Fried Worms and 400 Days.
UTA: Director Giuseppe Capotondi has signed with the agency. He recently premiered his feature, The Double Hour at Venice, which earned him a nomination for Discovery of the Year and the film won a Young Cinema Award for Best Italian Film. He previously directed commercials and music videos. His music videos include Bush’s “Inflatable”, Kelis featuring Andre 3000’s “Millionaire”, and Keane’s “Crystal ball” and “Nothing in My Way”. Currently he’s shooting the Epix 10-part drama series, Berlin Station.
WME: Actress, dancer and singer Julianne Hough has shifted from CAA to WME. She was just seen as Sandy in Fox’s highly rated special Grease: Live. Prior, she was a two-time champion on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars and served as a judge for two seasons. On the film side she was in Dirty Grandpa, Safe Haven, Rock of Ages and the Footloose remake. She is also designing a clothing line in a collaboration with MPG Activewear.
Untitled Entertainment: YouTuber and filmmaker Sawyer Hartman has signed with the LA-based talent management firm for representation in all areas of his business. On his YouTube channel he posts short films and short form series. Last year, he released The Parallax Theory, a feature-length indie drama, with New Form Digital on Vimeo. Currently, Hartman has begun working on an auto-biopic series that involves Hartman filming a day-in-the-life episode every day for 391 days leading up to his 27th birthday.
Abrams: Actor Costa Ronin has signed with Abrams Artists Agency for representation in all theatrical areas. He is well known for his role as Oleg on FX’s praised drama The Americans. In addition, he’s appeared in FX’s The Strain for FX, TNT’s Agent X, Scorpion on CBS and ABC’s Agent Carter. On the film side he will be seen in Brighton Beach from writer-director David Gutnik.
