ICM: Emmy winning actor Bradley Whitford has signed with ICM Partners for representation. He most recently was seen in Amazon’s Transparent. On the film side, he was in Sony Pictures Classics’ Hank Williams biopic I Saw The Light opposite Tom Hiddleston. Further out Whitford be in HBO’s LBJ movie All The Way, Netflix’s Other People, the Meagan Leavey biopic, Greg Kinnear’s indie directorial debut Phil, Get Out, and A Happening Of Monumental Proportions co-starring fellow West Wing alum Alison Janney.
Innovative: Adam Ferrara has signed with Innovative Artists. He has co-hosted the U.S. version of Top Gear since 2010 and was previously a regular on FX’s Rescue Me. His TV credits include Nurse Jackie and on the film side, Paul Blart: Mall Cop and Definitely Maybe. He’s also toured as a stand-up comic, done multiple Comedy Central specials.
Bungalow-SMG: NPR has signed with Bungalow-Storied Media Group for representation in feature film and television development, finance and distribution. The move marks NPR’s first association with Hollywood representation. Bungalow will leverage NPR’s archives to create films and TV series for global audiences. Bungalow-SMG also represents 60 Minutes, The New Republic, New York Magazine, The New York Times and Smithsonian Enterprises.
Alpern: Playwright and screenwriter Nicolas Billon has inked with the Alpern Group. His first play Elephant Song premiered at the Stratford Festival in Ottawa, and he wrote its 2014 film adaptation starring Bruce Greenwood, Catherine Keener and Carrie-Anne Moss. Billon was awarded Canada’s Governor-General’s Award for Drama for his 2013 stage trilogy Fault Lines. Upcoming he will write for Season 3 of X Company, a period spy thriller that airs on CBC in Canada.
Abrams: Actor Rizwan Manji has inked with Abrams Artists Agency. He can be seen on the Canadian comedy Schitt’s Creek and co-starred on the 2010 NBC series Outsourced. He will next be featured in Jim Jarmusch’s drama film Paterson and The Tiger Hunter with Jon Heder. This season he also was in the pilots for NBC’s Crunch Time and truTV’s Shady Neighbors.
CAA: Actress, model and social media star Amanda Cerny has inked with CAA for representation in all areas. Cerny’s comedic videos, center around what women go through on a day-to-day basis. In terms of followers she has 4.5 million on Vine, 4 million on Instagram and 3.5 million Facebook fans. On the TV side she has a role in Comedy Central’s House Party and recently guest-starred on HBO’s Hello Ladies. Next up she will be seen in Maker Studios and Lakeshore Entertainment’s mockumentary, Internet Famous.
Abrams: Actor Jake Weber has signed with Abrams Artists Agency. He was most notably seen in the series Medium. Other credits include Tyrant, Hell on Wheels, The Mind of the Married Man, The Blacklist, Secrets and Lies and The Following. In terms of film, he’s appeared in Learning to Drive, Hungry Hearts and White House Down. He’ll next be seen in alongside Anthony Mackie and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje in Wetlands.
