TV Castings For 5/28/14: Mark Pellegrino Set As The Lead In A&E’s ‘The Returned’

Mark Pellegrino has been tapped as the lead in A&E’s The Returned, that focuses on a small town that is turned upside down when several local people, who have been long presumed dead suddenly reappear, bringing with them both positive and detrimental consequences. Caroline Sunshine joins ABC Family’s Recovery Road, that follows a high school girl who falls in love with someone in rehab, and they strive to continue their relationship when they get out. Catherine Dent has been set for AMC’s Galyntine, that centers on a time after a cataclysmic technology-induced disaster has resulted in a new society that has eschewed any form of technology. This catastrophic event leaves small numbers of survivors scattered around the planet and forced to adapt to isolation and unique challenges. Charlie Cox has been cast as the lead in Netflix’s Daredevil,from Marvel Entertainment.
