Details: Based on the short story, The Things They Left Behind, written by Stephen King, which was originally published as part of the compilation Transgressions: Volume Two. Untitled Chris Moynihan Pub Quiz Comedy Network: NBC Studio: Universal Television Executive Producer: Chris Moynihan Writer: Jonathan Prince Logline: A group of millennials team up once a week to compete in their local pub quiz. SSN Insight: This is the second project for Moynihan at NBC. He is also involved with the live scripted series being developed by Sean Hayes’ Hazy Mills Productions. Untitled Steven Cragg & Brian Bradley Suburban Family Comedy Network: NBC Studio: Universal Television Production Company: David Janollari Entertainment Executive Producers: Steven Cragg, Brian Bradley, David Janollari Writers: Steven Cragg, Brian Bradley Logline: Centers on a pop science blogger and his wife who move from Manhattan and single life to New Jersey and married/family life. There, he begins writing about his suburban friends and neighbors on the cul-de-sac in the style of an anthropologist who’s stumbled on an undiscovered tribe. Details: Inspired by Cragg and Bradley’s personal observations of their own family lives. SSN Insight: Janollari is also developing The Catch, for NBC, with DJ Nash. Though a determined and acerbic loner, circumstances force him to work with a media-hungry, but not very successful team of ghost hunters. Details: Script + Penalty Public Integrity Network: CBS Studio: CBS Television Studios Production Company: Kennedy/Marshall Company Executive Producers: Aaron Tracy, Rene Balcer, Robert Zotnowski, Frank Marshall Writer: Aaron Tracy Logline: Centers on the the nation’s watchdogs — the passionate prosecutors of the Public Integrity Section who target criminals within the government. Details: Based on the film, Shooter, (USA, 2007) directed by Antoine Fuqua, which was based on the novel Point of Impact, written by Stephen Hunter. Details: Netflix has given a two-season straight to series commitment with 10 episodes ordered for the first season and 12 episodes ordered for the second. SSN Insight: This is the second time that Netflix has given a huge commitment like this, with the first given out to House Of Cards.
