SSN Insight: The novel was originally published in 2007 out of a garage and his since caught on and become a global bestseller with more than 18 million copies sold. It has been on The New York Times Bestseller List for more than 180 straight weeks. Forest Whitaker was previously attached to direct.
Electric Boy Genius Logline: Based on the true story of Ryan Patterson, who was doing the electrical wiring in his family's home before kindergarten and, by first grade, building robots. Under a mentor's encouragement, Ryan invented gadgets that would change people's lives, including an electronic sign-language translator. Spinoff of The Lego Movie (USA/2014) directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. SSN Insight: This is the second film in the announced Lego movie franchise for Warner Bros. The first is the Ninjago movie to be directed by Charlie Bean and the third is Lego Movie 2 to be released in 2018.

Good Universe will be selling the project internationally this week at AFM.
