The film’s subject, 69-year-old John Kitchin, used to be a doctor but now skates on the San Diego boardwalk and goes by the name “Slomo.” Izenberg’s 16-minute doc about the eccentric senior citizen is a fun, engaging, and thought-provoking look at a man who seems to be just where he belongs.
