Glee producer Michael Novick have optioned the YA novel by Leila Sales for both stage and film. Book follows a bullied girl who finds a family and a home among the denizens of the underground music scene.

The Breaks, is inspired by journalist Dan Charnas’ book "The Big Payback," a narrative history of business in the hip-hop industry, and might become a series after the movie is made.

The man who got his start on
Welcome Back, Kotter is coming back in Ryan Murphy’s
American Crime Story, which follows the case of O.J. Simpson’s murder trial. Travolta will play Simpson's defense attorney, Robert Shapiro, opposite Sarah Paulson as prosecutor Marcia Clark.

The series ended its fifth season in December, and there were expectations of a sixth season renewal, but the network announced today that the show has been canceled.
