Details: Based on the book "Undaunted Courage: Meriwether Lewis, Thomas Jefferson and the Opening of the American West," written by Stephen Ambrose, and published by Simon & Schuster in 1997. SSN Insight: Originally in development as an MOW with Hallmark Entertainment attached to produce for TNT cable network. Previous writers for the MOW developed version are William D.
