SSN Insight: Both Lemire and Nguyen are New York Times bestselling authors and illustrators. Producer Josh Bratman set Descender up in a competitive situation and the project marks his second sci-fi adaptation to get setup. He also nabbed the rights to The Themis Files last October for Sony with producer Matt Tolmach. Desert Eagle Logline: Two border patrol agents investigate a drug cartel operating out of a Native American reservation casino. But, what he really wants is to know where he belongs.
