SSN Insight: Winning out in yet another competitive situation over an acclaimed graphic novel (last week Sony and producer Josh Bratman set up comic The Descender), this time Sony nabbed Eisner and Harvey award-winning novelist McCloud’s first work of fiction in over 20 years. White Boy Rick Logline: Richard Wershe Jr. was 14 when he became an undercover informant for law enforcement in the 1980s, and then became a major drug dealer until he was arrested at age 17.
