There are a series of interesting changes, including the increase from six titles in each category to seven, but as per the Academy's new rules, series with episodes of 30 minutes or less will now be defined as a Comedy and series with episodes of more than 30 minutes are considered Drama. Most notably, this means that
Orange Is The New Black will now be considered as a drama, rather than a comedy.

Though the Paramount film’s release was moved from Christmas to July 31st, the latest installment of the Tom Cruise franchise has temporarily halted production to figure a new ending. Writer-director Christopher McQuarrie is huddling with Cruise and an unnamed other writer in an effort to “craft the perfect ending” for the film, which is due in theaters in just five months.

The April 18th opener will run simultaneously at 10 p.m. across AMC, SundanceTV, IFC and We TV, in addition to BBC America. The move could provide a crucial boost to turn “Orphan Black” into a broader hit that reaches beyond its hard-core cadre of sci-fi fans. The move is also a sign that AMC Networks is wasting no time in finding ways to integrate BBC America with the rest of its networks.

Rizzoli & Isles come from said she would, Gerritsen filed an amended complaint in the matter earlier this week. Last month, a federal judge dismissed the author’s initial $10 million breach-of-contract action against Warner Bros. over her 1999
Gravity novel and the Oscar winning 2013 Alfonso Cuaron-directed and studio released film of the same name.

Stone’s film will chart the experiences of Snowden, the whistleblowing National Security Agency contractor who began leaking classified documents to former Guardian journalist Glenn Greenwald in June 2013. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Shailene Woodley are starring as Snowden and his girlfriend. Olyphant will play a CIA agent who befriended Snowden before he fled to Russia. The film has begun production for a Christmas release.
