Rep Moves 4/1/15: Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell & Ed Helms Move From CAA to UTA in Shakeup, Kristen Schaal to PMK•BNC

UTA: Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, and Ed Helms have all followed their reps, Jason Heyman and Martin Lesak, and made the switch from CAA to UTA in the shakeup.

WME: Trey Edward Shults, whose film Krisha won the Special Jury and Audience awards for feature film at SXSW in March, has signed with WME. The film, adapted from the short, follows an alcoholic woman struggling to reconnect with her family after years of separation.

UTA: Kanye West parted ways with CAA and longtime rep Cara Lewis to sign with UTA for full representation across his varied business interests. West's digital business and music will be handled by a cross-departmental team of agents at UTA.

UTA: The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon staff writer Mike Drucker has signed with UTA. Drucker was nominated for an Emmy last year alongside the rest of The Tonight Show’s writing team, and has been with Fallon since Late Night.

42West: Star Wars: Episode VII star Daisy Ridley has signed with 42West. The Brit actress landed one of Hollywood’s most coveted roles, and she’ll be playing the female lead named Rey, who may or may not be Han and Leia’s daughter. PMK•BNC: The Last Man on Earth’s Kristen Schaal has signed with PMK•BNC. The actress and comedian plays Will Forte’s new wife on the Fox series, and voices Louise Belcher on the network’s Bob’s Burgers. She also played NBC page Hazel Wassername on 30 Rock and mega fan Mel on HBO’s Flight of the Conchords.

WME: Mark Strong has signed with WME. The actor was previously was with CAA. Strong is known for playing villains, in Jaguar’s 2014 Super Bowl campaign, and movies like Sherlock Holmes. He most recently played the Q to Colin Firth’s Bond-like spy in Kingsman: The Secret Service, and he was the MI6 head Stewart Menzies in The Imitation Game. His next film is Sony’s comedy Grimsby.
