But apparently the managing partners held a meeting yesterday morning to address employees’ concerns about the state of the agency and discuss how to proceed. The meeting was characterized as a major pep rally to keep spirits high, with no one dwelling on any anxiety or worry in the marble hallways of the Century City agency.

Amazingly, the pair has teamed for a top-secret Lifetime movie called
A Deadly Adoption. Set for a likely early summer debut, they star in the dramatic thriller as a successful couple who house and care for a pregnant woman with the hopes of adopting her unborn child — when things quickly go awry. The movie is described as campy and fun, a contemporary wink at the genre that comes as Lifetime is poised to mark the 25th anniversary of its TV movie business.

Story follows four best friends at Manhattan’s Fashion International High School, who are about to enter the contest of their lives. Each year, students split up into Fashion Houses and compete to design, produce, and show fully original fashion lines. The winner gets a scholarship, a professional show, and a real shot at a career in fashion.

“a wild child with a romantic heart” in the raunchy comedy that follows two brothers (Efron will play Mike with DeVine starring as Dave) who place an online ad to find dates for a wedding, only to have the ad go viral. TV director Jake Szymanski has been tapped to helm the comedy from a script by Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O’Brien.

Writer-director Kevin Smith announced that Renée Humphrey, Joey Lauren Adams and Sven-Ole Thorsen are the latest trio to return from the original film, which was released in 1995. They join the already announced Smith, Jason Mewes, Michael Rooker, Shannen Doherty, Jeremy London, Ethan Suplee, and Jason Lee. No word on whether or not Ben Affleck and Claire Forlani will also return. Smith has said he expects to shoot the film in 2016.
