Studio: A24 Production Company: Parliament of Owls Writers: Larry McMurty, Diana Ossana Director: Cary Fukunaga SSN Insight: This will be A24’s first original film from script to screen, previously they acquired films from the festival circuit. Fukunaga previously helmed all eight episodes of True Detective while scribes McMurty and Ossana are credited with the script to Brokeback Mountain. Dukes of Oxy Logline: A pair of high school wrestlers from Florida build a multimillion-dollar business smuggling painkillers. SSN Insight: Kesh shot the short film in Taiwan in the effort of proving his story and directing abilities. His efforts paid off as he not only set up the project but scored the gig of directing it. 21 Jump Street Spin-off Logline: Storyline under wraps but is said to be a female spin-off.
