Milo (Male 35-45): A cunning, charismatic, quick-witted entrepreneur— he’s equally sentimental and harsh. He made his riches in Belize real estate using dangerous shortcuts to get there. His attempt to quit and refusal to take on another job has angered his enemies. Drunk and hostile, he wills his estate to his friends right before he’s gunned down. Open to all ethnicities.
THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE
Companies: Amazon Studios (Network) Scott Free (Production Co.) Dates: Mid-September, Early October Casting Director: Priscilla John , Denise Chamian Logline: It's 1962, World War II has been over for 17 years, and the bad guys won. An aging Hitler is dying and the Japanese are preparing a sneak attack all the while there’s a U.S. underground resistance brewing.
Obergruppen Fuhrer John Smith (Male 40-49): Incredibly intelligent, tall, good-looking and resilient, he is a good father but also happens to be an American Nazi officer. This New York spymaster is in charge of finding a trail to the leader of the American Resistance.
Ed McCarthy (Male 30-35): Ed has a slight build, an anxious personality and not coincidently lacks self-confidence. He works alongside series regular Frank Frink at the factory, where he manufactures replica Colt .45s. He gossips about the rumored failing health of Adolf Hitler, and he's a doom-sayer.
SALEM ROGERS: MODEL OF THE YEAR 1998
Companies: Amazon Studios (Network) Dates: Mid-September, Early October Casting Director: Julie Ashton Logline: Former supermodel Salem Rogers is very self-centered and has spent the past ten years in rehab. Her former mousy assistant has meanwhile made a huge success writing tween self-help books. Salem instinctively seeks out Agatha who wants to have nothing more to do with her--until the book deal of her dreams falls into her lap.
Agatha Todd (Female 30-39): She’s a cute nerd who’s a moderately successful tween self-help author. But this underdog needs a dose of her own self-help medicine. Agatha has grown dissatisfied and wants to venture into the adult market. Although determined not to be undermined by Salem's toxicity, when her publishers want her to write an adult bully-to-best-friend book about Salem, she’s begrudgingly signs on.
Companies: Xbox (Network) Microsoft (Studio) Remedy Ent (Production Co.) Dates: Late Ocotber Casting Director: Steve Brooksbank Logline: After a time machine experiment goes horribly wrong, three life-long friends gain the ability to manipulate time. But they are pitted against each other in mortal struggle that only one will survive as time itself begins to fracture. This innovative series’ plotlines will be affected by the videogame version and vice versa.
Martin Cane (Male 40-59): The second in command of a cutting edge tech corporation, who has the confident air of a top predator. He has an easy humor but can switch personalities instantly depending on his shifting motivations. A string-puller so good that people think he could actually be sincere. Note- this role may involve motion capture for the videogame portion.
Charlie Wincott (Male 20-29): This smart, funny, and arrogant tech expert “cleans” data for corporations. He lacks a moral compass and has a chip on his shoulder. He craves mental challenges and doesn’t give up until he solves them by any means necessary. Still, underneath he could be a good guy.
Fiona Miller (Female, 20-29): A cute, brilliant scientist who wears her heart on her sleeve. She's upbeat and cheerful and sees the best in people. Although positive, she tells it like she sees it and doesn’t let anyone get away with bad behavior.
Liam Burke (Male 30-39): A former black ops military-trained assassin who’s gone to the private security sector. While cold on the job, he feels emotions deeply. He absolutely adores his pregnant wife and he's a different person around her, although he thinks he doesn’t deserve her. In the end he will discover he has the power to choose the man he wants to be.
Emily Burke (Female 20-35): Gorgeous and playful but when times get tough she’s unafraid to do what’s needed. She loves her husband very much and discovers he is a paid assassin. She doesn’t push him away, but rather becomes stronger and decides to hold him accountable and convince him he can be a good man.
Companies: Yahoo (Network) Yahoo (Studio) Feigco Ent (Production Co.) Dates: Early October Casting Director: Allison Jones, Beth Bowling, Kim Miscia Logline: In the far future, the Universal Mapping Project has been created to map the universe. This particular ship is run by fresh talent straight out of the Academy, and charged with heading out to parts unknown. The mission may be dangerous, but the day to day stuff still seems like high school. Note- casting for all parts is open to any ethnicity.
Stewart Lipinsky (Male, 20-25): He’s the gifted and goofy young captain of the ship. He’s upbeat and excitable and also naïve in an annoying way. But his positive attitude keeps everyone going and his abilities save his crew from danger.
Karen Lipinsky (Female 20-25): Stewart’s sarcastic older sister, Karen is envious of Stewart. She’s extremely competitive and intense. She and Stewart balance each other and work well together… when they're getting along.
Michael Newman (Male 20-25): He’s the captain’s BFF, but has a bitterness that he denies. While usually he’s cool and great to be around, he sometimes has a buildup of frustration that causes him to explode.
Kent Woolworth (Male 20-25): Kent’s a nerd and is awkward outside of the lab. His insecurity is due to this bully of a father. The only time he feels confident is when he’s utilizing his vast scientific know-how.
Natasha (Female 20-25): Stunning and proficient, she might look human but she’s actually a computer simulation that has a thing for Nicholas Sparks romances and feels like an outsider. She's aware she was programmed to be oddly neurotic about her looks.
Tina Hendrick (Female, 20-25): The ship’s navigator, Tina’s the cute, cheerful, girl-next-door. She can’t stop talking about her boring long-distance boyfriend. She’s not great at her job and can get really defensive about it.
Zalian Fletcher (Male 40-50): He’s a disheveled mess of an engineer directly due to decades of radiation exposure that’s given him ADD and delusions. He’s honest to the core and a loyal friend. He’s a history buff that collects 1990s memorabilia.
