American Crime Story Network: FX Studio: Fox 21 Production Companies: FX Productions, Ryan Murphy Productions, Color Force Executive Producers: Ryan Murphy, Dante Di Loreto, Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszewski, Brad Falchuk, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson Writers: Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszewski Director: Ryan Murphy Logline: The O.J. Simpson trial is told from the perspective of the lawyers. It explores the chaotic behind-the-scenes dealings and maneuvering on both sides of the case, and how a combination of prosecution confidence, defense wiliness, and the LAPD’s history with the city’s black community gave a jury what it needed: reasonable doubt. Details: Project has been ordered straight to series with a 10 episode commitment. SSN Insight: Murphy’s other anthology series, American Horror Story, will begin airing its fourth season tomorrow night.

Untitled Howard Gordon / James Wong Project Network: CBS Studio: 20th Century Fox Production Company: Teakwood Lane Productions Executive Producer: Howard Gordon Writer: James Wong Logline: Centers on an angel who, after losing his wings, saves the life of a female police detective and together they try to uncover the mystery of why the angel is stranded as a mortal on earth. SSN Insight: Teakwood Lane just inked a new overall deal with 20th Century Fox. Gordon’s company is behind projects such as Homeland, Tyrant, Legends and the recent event series 24: Live Another Day.

First Lady Network: CW Studio: Warner Bros. Television Production Companies: Intrigue, Vandalia Films Executive Producers: Jenni Ross, Tariq Jalil, Jennifer Garner, Juliana Janes Writer: Jenni Ross Logline: Chronicles one woman’s rags-to-riches journey from illegal immigrant to the White House, where she battles injustice and her own sordid past which has come back to haunt her. Details: Based on Primera Dama, created by Sebastián Arrau and distributed by Latin Media, which aired on Canal 13-Chile in 2010 and has been sold or remade in multiple countries. SSN Insight: Garner’s, Vandalia Films, is also developing Fox’s Half Full, which is being written by Matthew Nicklaw, while Ross’ Intrigue is developing Game Of Silence, being written by David Hudgins.

Wendy And Peter Network: NBC Studio: Warner Bros. Television Production Company: Le Train Train Productions Executive Producers: Marisa Coughlan, Rashida Jones, Will McCormack Co-Executive Producer: Jeff Grosvenor Writer: Marisa Coughlan Logline: The story is told from the point of view of Wendy, a woman who wants to find love with a real man, but finds herself falling for Peter, who refuses to fully embrace adulthood. Details: Loosely inspired by Marisa Coughlan’s own dating experiences and on the characters created by J.M. Barrie. SSN Insight: Le Train Train Productions has three other projects in development and is also behind the current project A to Z airing on NBC.

A self-proclaimed sexual omnivore but true romantic at heart, she relies on her innate intuition, wry sense of humor and unbelievable ability to draw connections between disconnected bits of information that come across her desk. Armed with intelligence of immediate threats from law enforcement agencies around the city and governments throughout the world, she and her team must confront and neutralize dangerous situations before they escalate. SSN Insight: Huffman will also be starring in ABC’s limited series American Crime, which will air in 2015.

Las Reinas Network: ABC Studio: ABC Studios Production Company: Mark Gordon Company Executive Producers: Dean Georgaris, Mark Gordon, Nicholas Pepper Writer: Dean Georgaris Logline: Follows the lives of the men and women in the Criminal Investigation Division of the Miami Police department. It centers on the mercurial heart and soul of the squad, Alex De La Reina, a woman who turned her back on her natal family when she discovered they run Florida’s most powerful and dangerous criminal syndicate. SSN Insight: Gordon has also sold an Untitled Quantico Project to ABC with Josh Safran and Pariahs, also to ABC, with Nichole Millard and Kathryn Price.

C.H.A.O.S. — Downtown Division Network: CBS Studio: Sony Pictures Television Production Company: Lynda Obst Productions Executive Producers: K.J. Steinberg, Lynda Obst Writer: K.J. Steinberg Logline: Nic Fontana and Abigail Luce are promoted as the new faces of Los Angeles’ most embattled police division. At the peak of their careers, with the respect and trust of their new charges hard enough to win, the women are forced to implement the newest trend in police and citizen oversight sweeping the country: the body cam. Charged with running this controversial program, their whole tenure relies on their success as they navigate what also are to become the most challenging years of their personal lives. SSN Insight: Project stems from Steinberg’s recent two-year overall deal with Sony Pictures.

Uncle Chubby’s Network: IFC Production Company: Apostle Pictures Executive Producers: Denis Leary, Tom Sellitti Writers: Jim Serpico, Tom Sellitti Logline: A group of friends in their late 20s play on an ice hockey team, determined to win the adult league title despite little experience playing the sport competitively.

Bone House Network: CW Studio: Warner Bros. Television Production Company: Jerry Bruckheimer Television Executive Producers: Sheri Elwood, Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, KristieAnne Reed Writer: Sheri Elwood Logline: Centers on an estranged group of siblings who own and operate a private autopsy company. SSN Insight: Bruckheimer is also developing ABC’s Couch Detective, Fox’s event series Two Black Cadillacs and an Untitled Cocaine Project with Michael Bay for TNT.

Broad Squad Network: ABC Studio: ABC Studios Production Companies: Fake Empire, Kapital Entertainment Executive Producers: Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, Leonard Goldstein, Aaron Kaplan Co-Executive Producer: Bess Wohl Producer: Alexandra Lydon Writer: Bess Wohl Logline: Set in 1978, the series is a fictionalized account of the graduating class of Boston’s first female patrol officers. Dubbed "The Broad Squad" by the local press, they arrived at a tumultuous time in Boston’s history, marked by corruption within the police force and a heightened organized crime presence in the city. Navigating rival neighborhoods as well as the conflicting attitudes toward them from everyone, they find themselves tested both on and off duty. SSN Insight: This marks the first collaboration between Fake Empire and Kapital Entertainment, who are both actively developing multiple project for this upcoming season.

Raven Rock Network: NBC Studio: Paramount Television Production Companies: Landscape Entertainment, Compari Entertainment, eOne Television Executive Producers: Robert Zemeckis, Jack Rapke, Jackie Levine, Bob Cooper, Tyler Mitchell, Matthew Federman, Stephen Scaia Writers: Matthew Federman, Stephen Scaia Logline: The series is based on the book about the history of our government’s secret efforts to ensure survival if most of America or its leaders are killed in a nuclear attack on the U.S. There is what is known as "CoG" or "Continuity of Government", which are top secret, highly detailed plans on how to save the highest ranks; start over; and save America or, at the very least, the idea of America. Details: Based on the book, Raven Rock: The Inside Story Of The U.S. Government’s Secret Plan To Save Itself – While The Rest Of Us Die, written by Garrett Graff and scheduled to be published by Simon & Schuster in 2015. SSN Insight: Paramount and Compari are also developing The Fermata together, though a network has not yet been attached.

Rush Hour Network: CBS Studio: Warner Bros. Television Production Company: Doozer Productions Executive Producers: Bill Lawrence, Blake McCormick, Brett Ratner, Arthur Sarkissian, Jeff Ingold Writers: Bill Lawrence, Blake McCormick Logline: A stoic, by-the-book Hong Kong police officer is assigned to a case in Los Angeles, where he’s forced to work with a cocky black LAPD officer who has no interest in a partner. Details: Based on the film, Rush Hour (USA/ 1998), directed by Brett Ratner and starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. Project has been ordered to pilot. SSN Insight: Doozer Productions also received a pilot order from CBS for an Untitled Tommy Johnagin Project, starring the comedian, and written by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Tommy Johnagin.

Big Network: FOX Studio: 20th Century Fox Executive Producers: Kevin Biegel, Mike Royce Writers: Kevin Biegel, Mike Royce Logline: The show explores what it means to be an adult, what it means to be a kid, and how in today’s world those two things are more confused than ever. Details: Based on the film Big (USA/1988), directed by Penny Marshall and starring Tom Hanks.

Twin Peaks Network: Showtime Executive Producers: David Lynch, Mark Frost Writers: David Lynch, Mark Frost Director: David Lynch Logline: About the mysterious murder of homecoming queen Laura Palmer. Details: This limited series picks up 20 years after the events in Twin Peaks, which was created by David Lynch and Mark Frost and aired on ABC in 1990. Showtime will air 9 episodes in 2016.

Junior Bender Network: NBC Studio: Universal Television Production Company: Ella Communications Executive Producers: Eddie Izzard, Sarah Townsend, Jessica Ball Writer: Jessica Ball Logline: A high-end thief with a taste for the finer things in life sidelines as a private eye for criminals. Those who can't go to the police go to Junior Bender. Details: Based on the four-book "Junior Bender" novel series, including "Crashed" (2010), "Little Elvises" (2011), "The Fame Thief" (2013) and "Herbie's Game" (2014), written by Timothy Halinan. SSN Insight: Izzard will be seen in Playstation’s new series Powers, which has been ordered for 10 episodes.
