The book is an expansion of an article, written by Grann, that appeared in The New Yorker magazine in September 2005. SSN Insight: The project used to be setup at Paramount with Brad Pitt to star. Gray had hoped to start shooting in early 2015 but now it looks like the production won’t get up until summer 2015.
