Rep Moves 1/14/15: Al Pacino Shifts from ICM to UTA, IDW Entertainment Signs with WME & More

UTA: Al Pacino recently signed with UTA. He had been previously repped by ICM Partners. Pacino’s next film is the Barry Levinson-directed adaptation of the Philip Roth novel The Humbling, opposite Greta Gerwig.

CAA: Trading Spaces and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition‘s Ty Pennington has signed with CAA in all areas. Pennington hosted Extreme Makeover: Home Edition from 2003-12, and the show won two Emmys for Outstanding Reality Program, as well as two People’s Choice awards. He hosts TNT’s On The Menu and CNN’s American Journey.

Paradigm: Paradigm has signed American Sniper thesp Cory Hardrict. Hardrict appears in Clint Eastwood’s Oscar contender, starring as fellow soldier ‘D’ opposite Bradley Cooper as real life Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle. He also stars with Emily Mortimer and James Badge Dale in the sci-fi thriller Spectral.

WME: Writer/director Oliver Daly has been signed by WME on the heels of his hot short film Miles. The agency will package the short as a feature film vehicle for their new client.

ESA: Yolonda Ross is now a client at Equitable Stewardship for Artists (ESA), represented by Rachel Sheedy. Ross premieres in Whitney on Lifetime, directed by Angela Bassett. She’s also heading to Sundance with Lila & Eve with Viola Davis and Jennifer Lopez. Ross was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award last year for John Sayles’ Go For Sisters. She is still represented by Sanders Armstrong Caserta.

WME: IDW Entertainment has signed with WME. The agency will represent all film and TV projects for the company, a division of comic book publisher IDW Publishing.
