Zimmer has won four Grammy awards, and an Oscar for The Lion King. Interstellar is his ninth Academy Award nomination, and the fifth time to compose the score of a Christopher Nolan film. After Months Of Speculation, We Have Our Female 'Ghostbusters' Cast

Melissa McCarthy, who was already in talks for one of the leads, has signed on for the Paul Feig-directed reboot, and the studio is now negotiating with Kristen Wiig, as well as Saturday Night Live players Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. Negotiations are ongoing but the quartet are expected to sign on as the specter-seeking, poltergeist-punishing and phantom-phollowing foursome in the reboot, which is eyeing a summer shoot in New York. Could Disney Be Looking To Start a New Indiana Jones Franchise With Chris Pratt?

It appears the Mouse House has just started to turn its attention to reviving the series after buying the rights from Paramount in 2013. While things are very early, the studio has apparently set its sights on the Guardians of the Galaxy star as the swashbuckling archaeologist they hope to build the new franchise around, the role made famous by Harrison Ford in Raiders Of The Lost Ark. From the ‘It’s About Time’ Category, Norman Lear Is Plotting a Latino ‘One Day at a Time’

The sitcom king and legendary producer is in talks to revive 1970s comedy with a Latino cast. The potential series would be produced by Sony Pictures Television, whose T.A.T. Communications and Embassy Television produced the original, would be an English-language remake and be a co-production of SPT and Televisa USA. (THR)

Warner and Team Downey Have Found a Director For Their Untitled USS Indianapolis Drama

The Help helmer Tate Taylor has signed on for the project, which will be produced by Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey. Mike Jones will write the script for the aftermath story of the 1945 sinking of the battleship. Warner Bros. set up the long-in-development project in 2011 by acquiring life rights to Hunter Scott, who helped exonerate the court-martialed captain of the Indianapolis. (VAR)

A Victory For the Viability Of Shooting Movies On the iPhone, as Magnolia Buys ‘Tangerine’ At Sundance

The company has picked up worldwide rights to Sean Baker's hotly buzzed Sundance NEXT entry, and will distribute nationwide in theaters later this year. Shot entirely on an iPhone 5s by Radium Cheung, this marks Magnolia's second acquisition of the fest after Andrew Bujalski's Results. (TOH)

Trailer Buzz: ‘Child 44’

The first look at the upcoming thriller based on the bestselling novel by Tom Rob Smith, about the hunt for a child killer in 1950s Soviet Russia. Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Noomi Rapace, Joel Kinnaman, Paddy Considine, Jason Clarke and Vincent Cassel star in the film, which opens April 17th. (TA)
