Adapted by Simon Beaufoy from Ben Fountain's book, the story follows the titular 19-year-old soldier, who along with his squad has survived a tough battle in Iraq that made headlines and turned the troops into instant celebrities. Shipped home for a promotional tour by the army, they’re scheduled to return to combat after the final engagement of the trip, a halftime show of a Thanksgiving Day American football game in Texas.

Actor’s Appian Way has signed a multi-year first-look deal for non-fiction projects that will have environmental and conservation themes. The deal covers both original documentaries and docu-series as well as acquisitions. That means Appian Way will likely become active on the festival acquisitions front, where the supply of eco-minded documentaries has increased in recent years.

Author’s first book in a decade follows a couple in a semi-historical Medieval Britain as they venture forth across a war-ravaged landscape in search of a son they haven’t seen in years. The story has fantasy elements, including a dragon, spectacular battle sequences and a panoramic backdrop. It has been compared favorably to J.R.R. Tolkien’s
The Lord Of The Rings.

Director Roland Emmerich announced on Twitter that Goldblum's MIT nerd David Levinson would be back for the sequel, with Liam Hemsworth also joining the gang in a lead role. It was previously announced that Smith will not return, but his son will be played by Jessie Usher. Now, we await word on whether or not Bill Pullman will also be returning.

Show will not be returning for a second season on the cable network. The half-hour show featured Riki Lindhome (Garfunkel) and Kate Micucci (Oates), following the “aspirations and misadventures” of the comedic duo as well as spotlighting their careers in singing satirical and often dirty songs in its eight-episode first season.

The new trailer for one of the year’s most highly anticipated films shows more action from the film, starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, and James Spader and writer and directed by Joss Whedon, is in theaters May 1st.

It hits theaters March 4th, 2016.
