The actor, an avid pilot, was flying a vintage two-seater which had engine trouble. Ford crashed on the Penmar golf course in Venice, California. Ford suffered multiple gashes to his head and was bleeding. Two doctors who happened to be at the golf course rushed over to treat the actor, who was then transported to a nearby hospital. According to his son, he’s battered, but okay.

Event series is based on the recently released book
The Reaper: Autobiography Of One Of The Deadliest Special Ops Snipers by Nicholas Irving, the U.S. Army 3rd Ranger Battalion’s deadliest sniper. The Weinstein Co. acquired the rights to Irving’s memoir less than a week after it was published by St. Martin’s Press with the intention to adapt it as a miniseries to begin production in the summer.

Pixar President Jim Morris says the first three films were a complete trilogy, and the new film is more of a romantic comedy. Director John Lasseter, who oversees all of Disney’s animation, is co-writing the new movie with Rashida Jones and Will McCormack, for a July 16th, 2017 release.

Ida. His English language debut has written and will direct a still-untitled thriller, to be overseen by Nicole Brown for the studio. Longline is still under wraps, but Tom Rothman, recently promoted from head of TriStar to chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment, will continue to look over films he green lit.

Film from director Hiromasa Yonebayashi is based on the British children’s novel by Joan G. Robinson about a young girl, Anna, who befriends a mysterious girl, Marnie, when she relocates from the city to a small town. Hailee Steinfeld will be Anna, Kiernan Shipka is Marnie. and John C. Reilly, Vanessa Williams, Geena Davis, Kathy Bates, Ellen Burstyn and Catherine O’Hara rounding out the voice cast. Film hits theaters on May 22nd.
