Warm Bodies writer/helmer Jonathan Levine; Ted Melfi, writer/director of Golden Globe-nommed
St. Vincent;
Pitch Perfect helmer Jason Moore; John Francis Daley & Jonathan M. Goldstein, the directors/writers of the updated version of John Hughes’
Vacation; and
Napoleon Dynamite and
Don Verdean writer/director Jared Hess. The search is concurrently going for the star of the film.

Marvel has not released any information about what character the actor might be playing, but he certainly has major franchise experience, having just played Bilbo Baggins in Peter Jackson’s
The Hobbit trilogy. Freeman joins Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chadwick Bozeman, Anthony Mackie, Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, Jeremy Renner and many others in the film, which will hit theaters May 6th, 2016.

Aldous Huxley wrote the novel in 1932, and it has inspired a couple of movies and radio releases since then, but now the cable network and Steven Spielberg’s production shingle are starting it up anew. Amblin Television’s Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey will executive produce the project, while
Dante’s Peak writer Les Bohem will handle script duties.

Paramount had originally planned to put the movie in theaters around Christmas, but has now pushed the live action/CGI film to March 18th. The movie is produced by Paramount Animation and Disruption Entertainment and directed by Chris Wedge from a script by Jonathan Aibel, Glenn Berger and Derek Connolly, and stars Jane Levy, Lucas Till, Amy Ryan, Rob Lowe, Danny Glover, Barry Pepper and Holt McCallany.

Warner Bros. has preemptively picked up
The Infinite Horizon, a package that includes the rights to the miniseries from Image Comics as well as a script by Ryan Condal. Berlanti, the writer and producer behind such TV shows as
Arrow, The Flash and
Supergirl, is on board to produce with Berlanti Productions' Sarah Schechter. Lawrence Grey is also producing.

The Emmy-nominee will play Daniel Logan, a self-made businessman working in the scent industry. In an attempt to bottle the smell of sex and market an aphrodisiac to the general public, Dan seeks out Masters (Michael Sheen) and Johnson’s (Lizzy Caplan) expertise on desire. A charismatic salesman, Dan’s involvement with Masters and Johnson becomes complicated.

Franchise producer Kathleen Kennedy has officially confirmed that yes, Indy will be back, though in what form and when remains to be seen. There was some very loud chatter about Chris Pratt picking up the whip, but that remains unconfirmed. Also unconfirmed: whether or not Steven Spielberg would return to the series, as well as any time table.

The first trailer has landed for the new film from Monty Python member Terry Jones, starring Simon Pegg and Jones’ fellow Pythons John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle and Michael Palin, all of whom do voice work in the film. Kate Beckinsale, Rob Riggle and Eddie Izzard also star in the movie, which hits UK theaters this summer and is still looking for a US release date.
