Indie distributor picked up the title at Cannes for a reported $4 million, after producers showed a 12-minute promo reel for the film, which stars Teller as world champion fighter Vinny Pazienza and Aaron Eckhart as the trainer who brought him back to the ring after a nearly fatal car wreck. Ben Younger wrote and directed the film, and Martin Scorsese is one of many executive producers.

The movie about the controversial “Rathergate” scandal that ended the careers of newsman Dan Rather (as played by Robert Redford) at CBS and his
60 Minutes producer Mary Mapes (as played by Cate Blanchett), ends up at SPC, which may release it later this year. The film also stars Dennis Quaid, Topher Grace and Elisabeth Moss.

The director and star of the 2006 comedy
Nacho Libre will make the new film, which revolves around the world of “do-it-yourself countries”, in which people declare their own backyards “micronations”. Black will play a loveable oddball who finds a place in this bizarre world and is recruited as the head of Defense for the tiny nation of Valoria, population: 12. Valoria soon finds itself in a battle with neighboring nation Wayne County, Nevada.

The Viacom-owned cable network has picked up the drama for 12 additional episodes, bringing its second-season order to 24 total episodes. The second batch of episodes will debut later this year. Starring Kathryn Prescott, the drama about a teenager who learns that her mother abducted her as a child was renewed for a 12-episodes second season in August.

Luke Evans stars in the film, which follows a man forced to go undercover in a prison for an FBI sting operation. But then the bureau’s agents abandon him in the violent jail and he has no choice but to figure out a way to escape on his own. Evans plays the man, while Oyelowo plays an anti-social New York police detective who witnesses a fellow officer being murdered and starts to unravel the entire operation. Otto Bathurst is directing.

Universal has released the first image from next summer’s video game adaptation of
World of Warcraft, from writer-director Duncan Jones. The image is of Orc King Orgrim, and comes from Industrail Light and Magic. The movie opens March 11th, 2016.
