SSN Insight: Disney is developing two live-action films based on Aladdin: Aladdin and Genie. Genie would be released first. A live-action reboot of Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson is set to be released in 2017 with a live-action reboot of Dumbo in development.

Genies Logline: Centers on the magical Genie from Aladdin, exploring his world and how he ended up trapped in the lamp. All is Not Forgotten Logline: After a teenager is raped, her parents decide to give her a pill to erase her short-term memory to ease her trauma, but as the memory returns, shocking secrets are revealed.
