PMK•BNC: The comedian and soon-to-be host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah has signed on with PMK•BNC. After making his debut on the show in December, Noah will be Jon Stewart’s successor on the Comedy Central franchise later this year.
ICM: Prolific filmmaker Garry Marshall was previously at CAA but will now be repped by ICM Partners. He’s currently working on the Broadway musical adaptation of Pretty Woman as well as casting his next film, Mother’s Day, to shoot this summer. He will continue to be managed by Rick Nicita at RPMedia Company. APA: Writer-director W. Peter Iliff just signed with APA for film and TV representation. He wrote the original screenplay for Point Break which Warner Bros. is remaking. He’s currently attached to three scripted series at UCP, Relativity, and Electus and a reality series at Lighthouse Ent. Long-time comedy writer and showrunner Adam Small, known for Bad Grandpa and Mad TV has also signed with APA. He created a digital series, Tightrope which is currently in development at Crackle. Small will continue to be repped by Stephen Marks at Dialed-in Entertainment, and Jared Levine at Morris, Yorn. UTA: Emmy-winning producer Robert Morton, who’s best known for his extensive work on David Letterman’s talk shows over a period of nearly a decade and a half, has signed with UTA. He has since worked on The Wayne Brady Show, for which he won a Daytime Emmy. Morton’s production banner Panamort Productions has produced TV shows including ABC’s official Oscar preshow. He will continue to be managed by 3 Arts.↧
