UTA: Veteran ER, Law & Order SVU and current Under the Dome showrunner Neal Baer has left long-time agent Debbee Klein at Paradigm and signed with UTA, to be repped by a team spearheaded by UTA co-founder Peter Benedek. Last year Baer launched his own shingle, Baer Bones. Baer, a trained pediatrician, will be working with the UTA digital media team on his app that connects people with opportunities to become involved with non-profits.

CAA: After leaving CAA for ICM back in 2006, Beyonce has made the switch again and will be repped again by CAA for her touring business. She will still be repped by ICM for acting. Her 2014 'On the Run' stadium tour with Jay Z grossed upwards of $100 million, making this a blow to ICM. WME: The agency has just signed British actor John Boyega who will next be seen playing the lead role of Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens on December 18. Previously he was seen in the much-loved indie film, Attack the Block as well as 24: Live Another Day. He was formerly with CAA and will remain repped by his UK agent Femi Oguns and lawyer Craig Jacobson.

Paradigm: The agency has signed filmmaker Peter Segal along with his producing partner Michael Ewing and their Callahan Filmworks shingle for film and TV. He will be repped by Adam Kanter and Martin Spencer who previously repped Segal at CAA and Resolution. Currently Segal is signed on to direct Jackie Chan in The Civilian for Thunder Road, Goblins for Disney, Bleach for WB and Shazam! for New Line, all actively being developed.

UTA: The agency has signed on to rep Oscar-nominated screenwriter Eric Warren Singer. He’s a screenwriter on upcoming projects in active development Red Sparrow to be directed by David Fincher at Fox, the Michael Mann film The Big Stone Grid at Sony and the Doug Liman directed Splinter Cell also at Fox.

Paradigm: Screenwriter Peter Steinfeld has left CAA and signed on with Paradigm. He will continue to be repped by Mosaic Media and attorney Melanie Cook. His upcoming projects include Central Intelligence, the Dwayne Johnson starring film at WB in production, a remake of Slap Shot at Universal in active development, and he did a rewrite of the Kevin Hard starrer Ballers for Universal in development.
